Yesterday, most of my blockmates went to this welcoming night aka the supposed wild party but it’s not an official event of the university. Didn’t have the vitality to join the crew because of darn it unfinished business and soggy clothing.
I was online yesternight to see the latest tweet of my blockmate saying “It wasn’t a party. It was a gathering.” Asked another blockmate what happened. There was a talk about “purpose in life” thingamajiga. 70-80 people out of the expected 400+ frosh attended. But hey, free entrance+food+games= sheer clean fun. And yeah, the ad didn’t say “free food AND DRINKS”.
Well, now everyone has learned their lesson. you must really read the ad beforehand. If it doesn’t say “free food AND DRINKS”, expect a gathering. Otherwise, you must get ready to log in facebook and get tagged in a wasted photo of yourself.
because free drinks spell the difference. ;)
